Welcome, everyone! The verza team has been working hard behind the scenes to bring our MVP to life. We’re excited to share an update on what we’ve been up to and give you a sneak peek into the future of our platform.

First, let us introduce ourselves. We’re a team of experienced digital product builders, community builders, and game developers. Our team is made up of Jorge, Augusto, Eduardo, and me.

Jorge is a self-taught full-stack developer and DevOps maestro. He has over 17 years of experience and is known for his ability to process 100k requests per second for just $5 USD a month.

Augusto has 14 years of experience building digital products, including the most important platform for sending SMS in Mexico, which was acquired by Twilio.

Eduardo has 10 years of experience in game design and is a key player in our efforts to create engaging gameplay experiences that will be loved by players everywhere.

About me, I’m a co-creator of TechnoLatinas, an organic community that provides personal and professional support for every person who identifies as a woman in tech. Team builder and product builder, with over 10 years of experience creating digital products and communities as a Product Manager, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team.

We’ve been working together for over 12 years, building different types of digital products, MVPs, and communities across various industries, including communications, finances, blockchain, and gaming. We love gaming, and as builders, we know how to create and deliver high-quality products. We’re passionate about user experience, and we’re excited to bring our skills and experience to the metaverse.

As developers and gamers ourselves, we understand the challenges that come with building gamemodes on the browser. One of the biggest challenges is the lack of existing solutions for creating game modes on the browser. This can make it difficult for developers to create immersive, interactive, and entertaining experiences for players.

According to a recent study by the Entertainment Software Association, the global gaming industry is worth over $159 billion, with browser-based games making up a significant portion of that market. However, despite this growth, there are still no solutions available for developers to easily create and host 3D gamemodes on the browser. This can make it difficult for developers to reach their full potential and provide players with engaging and compelling experiences.

Another challenge in the current picture is the lack of game economy and game logic in social spaces. This makes it difficult for developers to create in-game economies and reward systems, which can be crucial for player engagement and retention. Additionally, the lack of interoperability between different platforms can make it difficult for developers to reach a wide audience and create a sense of community among players.

On the other hand, there are many related costs that you need to consider as a dev to create a gamemode. It is not scalable to build on top of third-party services. We want to be that reliable platform that offers the all-in, so devs can focus only on building without worrying about operational costs.

To address these challenges, verza will provide developers with a wide range of features and tools for creating and hosting gamemodes on the browser.

Verza, is a solution for developers to build game modes on the browser that provide engaging and immersive experiences for users. It offers a variety of features and tools for developers to create and host interactive gamemodes, as well as social networking tools that enable scalable communities and interoperability. By building this solution, we aim to support the development of diverse and scalable game economies.

In a line, verza is a platform where developers can build game modes with Javascript for the Metaverse on the browser, that’s simple.

Our platform is realistic, providing actual game modes, and it’s low-cost and scalable. Furthermore, we are first in the market.

The reason for building on the browser is due to the large market for browser-based gamemodes as they are accessible to a wide audience and can be played on a variety of devices, including desktop computers, laptops, and mobile devices. Additionally, WebGPU (The Web API that enables webpages to use the system’s Graphics Processing Unit) is starting to have support for some browsers and enables high-performance 3D graphics and data-parallel computation on the web. This means that we will have even more immersive and engaging game experiences.

Network data transmissions (voice chat multiplayer), servers, other services and assets, a character builder, animations, game mechanics, and physics that could enable the success of the gameplay. Additionally, we will provide SDKs, APIs, and code examples to make it easy for developers to integrate their gamemodes into the platform and a game economy and game logic feature that will allow developers to create and manage in-game economies, and provide players with a sense of progression and reward.

The impact of our solution, verza, is significant in several ways. Our vision is to empower anyone to build a game mode with Javascript on the browser. This means that there will be no need for downloads, faster load times, shorter development time, better graphics, and scalable and customizable infrastructure for each developer.

One of the key features of verza is its interoperability system. This allows for the seamless integration of different game modes and virtual worlds, making it easy for players to move between different experiences. The gamified blockchain structure is another important aspect, which will be available to anyone, for free. This means that players will be able to earn in-game rewards and items and even trade them with others.

The marketplace and customized items feature will also be available in any game mode, with a small fee per item. This will allow players to purchase unique items and experiences that are tailored to their individual preferences. Additionally, we are planning to collaborate with brands and communities to create even more engaging and immersive experiences for players.

We are excited to announce that the Character builder code base is complete and will be launching in April. Verza will be open to anyone, for free, and the character builder and SDKs will be available for all game modes. The verza lobby and beta will be launching soon, in July and November, respectively, so stay tuned for more updates! With verza, the possibilities for game development and player engagement are endless.

Our long-term ambition is to offer an AAA game mode experience for developers and designers. We believe that by sharing the power and ease of creating game modes on the browser, we can empower communities and bring a new level of accessibility to game development. By offering an awesome game and developer experience for free to anyone, we aim to democratize the process of creating and playing gamemodes.

We want to break down the barriers that have traditionally hindered game development, making it more accessible and affordable for everyone. Our goal is to provide a realistic platform for creating actual game modes at a low cost and with scalability in mind. By doing so, we hope to spur innovation and creativity in the world of gaming, and bring new and exciting experiences to players everywhere.”

As we continue to work towards our MVP, we invite you to join us on this journey. We understand the importance of gaming and communities, and the technologies that will drive this industry forward. Our goal is to offer an unparalleled experience for developers and designers to build game modes on the browser, with a scalable solution. With our platform, we aim to empower communities and create a space for collaboration and innovation.
