Community Update: February 27th, 2023.
Verza has made significant progress in just 5 months since its inception, and we’re thrilled to share our latest updates with the community. Our team has been working hard to implement new features and improve existing ones to enhance the verza experience.
Recently, we introduced the objects editor, allowing you to create and modify objects with just a few clicks, without any coding knowledge required.
We’ve added several new server features, including managing server members, roles, commands & actions permission, making it easier to manage your server and collaborate with others. Additionally, we’ve added support for WebServer & Websocket Server support to the SDK, allowing you to build and deploy your own server.
Our new character UI flow and selection approach makes it easier to create and customize characters. We’ve also added several new server settings, including basic server settings, and scripts management, making it easier to extend your server with different functionalities.
We’ve also conducted user research with game devs, game designers, digital world creators, architects, and web developers and designers to understand the needs of our community better. The insights we’ve gained from this research have helped us create features that meet the needs of our community. We would love to hear from you too if you are in the gaming industry or you are currently creating structures on virtual worlds.
We’re thrilled to see the early interest from the community, with over 40 people on our waitlist to join the beta. A closed testing is coming soon with a Social Innovation Lab from Parenthood Global, where 20 women developers will be able to prototype real solutions through a virtual world at verza. We remain committed to improving our platform and creating a world that enables our community to build, create, and collaborate. At the same time, we’re proud to announce that we are part of the eMerge Americas 2023 Startup Showcase x Showdown in partnership with Panoramic Ventures.
In conclusion, we’re excited about the progress we’ve made on verza and the opportunities that lie ahead. Thank you for your continued support, and we can’t wait to see what you will be able to create on verza.
